Hi all!
So I've been on an engagement ring hunt for a while, I'm replacing a ring I lost (purchased from whiteflash)
This is the 2nd time I've purchased from them and both times I've been a right pain in the A**
I am a very indecisive person and suffer a lot from buyers remorse lol!
Well I've been toying with possible purchases for a while now everything from the stone to the setting
I did make a final decision to get the $350 basic 6 prong solitaire a while ago as I didn't want to fork out now for a setting knowing if be very soon upgrading my stone I'd probably have to buy the setting again,
But I did however enquire about every different setting style & metal choice and make my diamond consultant do far too much leg work before I decided !
Then I toyed with getting a .75ish stone bla bla asked for pics of size difference and again she responded with out hesitation.
I after about 50 emails again for the 2nd time around I emailed her and said I'd decided on a .64 H VS2 ES well I had decided on that for months, but the frugal I'm paying off a wedding part of me wanted to spend less so I ordered a .6 G si1. I sent the wire but it didn't leave my bank straight away so I had time to sleep on it and oh god I woke up and changed my mind so I got on live chat and ordered a .556 H si1 boom $300 - saved, (my partner was annoyed at this point) he knew I would get buyers remorse and wanted to spend the few extra $ to get what I wanted, we then straight away went to a jewler and tried on a few .5' and one .63 ct solitaires and I knew then I would be upgrading very very soon, any way I paid for it the money landed and I went to sleep again LOL! I woke up and got on the phone to hubby and I told him I was still eyeing my H VS2 ES stone and he said get on now and change it I don't want you to get it and have to send it back again so I got on live chat again and asked to change it again at this point I feel really bad for the sales consultants for having to deal with me, but again she let me change it and I wired the difference (why didn't I just buy this in the first place?)
Well the diamond is now mine and will be until it gets sent back for an upgrade and reset in approx 6-12 months, we will be going to a minimum H VS2 and between .85-.95 ct and I will re set either in to a beautiful platinum solitaire or a rose gold cushion shape halo (undecided)
So I just wanted the say that the people at whiteflash are very nice / patient / & accommodating for all their customers. Compared to most I spent so little and they went above and beyond for me both for my first purchase and this one. I would highly reccomend them to anyone considering purchasing off their company, at no point did they email me and ask if I was any closer to purchasing or push me in to a sale (I did reach out to other vendors and some of them did) at no point did they try and up sale me or try to push me out of budget (again some vendors did) I'm not bashing other vendors or giving names this is purely a praise to whiteflash and how wonderful they are with their customer service, I really feel they want their customers happy with their purchases and are more interested in that then how much you are or aren't spending.

Now on to the goodies! Let me know what you think of my stone ! image_1985.jpg

I also ordered a pair of .25ctw martini earrings a couple of weeks ago, & I didn't end up getting them as I didn't realise until seeing pics they were so small, so in about 10 days they'll be selling me .5ct tw martini earrings & a 7 stone band to match my ring, then I'll leave them alone until my upgrade and re set lol

Nice stone!

And if WF puts up with me, they'll put up with most anyone!

LoL and!
I feel so bad honestly like I can imagine them rolling their eyes, I'm sure they have me pictured as a crazy lady haha

After reading all that I can say for a fact that your very very very very far from the most indecisive person they have dealt with.
You likely not even in the top 10 LOL
So don't feel bad and congrates!!!

Hahaha thanks Karl! I haven't even received payment confirmation yet and I'm already looking at stones for my next upgrade ! I have to stay focused! Receive ring, order earrings & wedding band, then talk upgrade / re set & pendant ????? Eek

This is a great endorsement! Thanks for sharing it!

Beautiful diamond  and lovely testimonial. Congratulations.

Thankyou for your lovely comments, my last stone was an ACA and I'd never been that in to diamonds before as I thought they were too high priced for what they were but I'd only ever seen mall stones think k-m poor cut i1's I had no idea such beauty could happen in a diamond with a decent cut! I am particularly anxious to see if my ES will still perform as nice as my ACA , in the sun that thing just danced and that's what I loved about it, I hope my ES is comparable

+1 on the below! nice stone - can't wait for the upgrade ;-)

Hi Sophie, I'd love to hear your thoughts comparing your ES to your last ACA. I've heard the difference IRL is difficult to distinguish, if at all. I think my stone that's on it's way would be considered an ES. Hope yours is a beauty! Glad to hear your purchase went well. Thanks for your review.

Hah you sound just like how I was with them. 46 emails were sent by WF, 26 of which were written by my CSR (pretty long emails too). Ended up with a beautiful ring, and I know yours will be too

No worries, I'll definitely post all about the two stones & differences I notice especially in the colour & if the sparkle is comparable. I think I should have it some time next week, :)

I just read your threads & yes we are much a like as customers lol! I'm glad I found your threads & ring, it looks like a nice size in the photos and you stated it was a size 7-7.5 I'm only a size 5 and I was worried it would look too small, so it's nice to see it still looks sizeable in your ring :) I simply can't wait !

You & me both :naughty:

I am glad you had a great experience buying from Whiteflash. Your diamond looks terrific and I can't wait to see your ring and earrings.

Haha! I felt bad about five emails on one purchase! :shifty: Beautiful diamond!

They'd probably include me in the most indecisive customer list, too! So I am sure you are not alone! WF staff certainly are patient and kind!

The diamond looks great and will certainly be a nice temporary stone until you upgrade!

Thank you every one, I'm very excited to have this in (or on) my hot little hands! I'll post several pictures and a description of comparisons & feelings once I receive it

Ok, so just an update I received a FedEx shipping notification today,
However I have not received any communication from whiteflash after updating the stone again...
Hopefully I'll have some glamour shots to post soon

Congrats, Sophie! Thank you for sharing your story with us. I don't think you're the most indecisive customer ever at all. However you're right that picking a stone can be quite an interesting adventure.

I'm looking forward to seeing how you'll set it. Regarding the eventual upgrades, if I may offer an opinion: while increasing size, be sure to consider maintaining the other C's or try to improve them if you can. Unfortunately I hear too many tales of folks going up in size but down in clarity, color, or (ack!) cut, in which case they're often disappointed with the performance. A bigger stone that has poorer light performance is just more of less.

My point? Don't spoil yourself too much with the great cut many Whiteflash stones have! An upgrade means you only go up!

Kudos again for your choice and can't wait to hear more.

Thanks sir guy!
I'm actually a picky person when it comes to colour / clarity & cut, I could not buy an si1 stone it's vs2 or better & H or better and cut super ideal or expert selection :) I actually found a VC setting I love & if my fiancées job keeps going as well as it is the upgrade will be that setting & a .9 ish H or above & VS2 or above whiteflash stone. I could of easily got a .756 I si1 this time around but I just couldn't do the specs on it and be happy so in order to stay in budget I sacrificed size, .9 is the highest id ever go for mind reasons I just don't like big stones, I'm a petite girl (5,5" 56kg's size 5 ring) and I'm a very simple girl who has always been a huge advocate for quality over quantity :)
I think it's why I kept changing my mind in regards to the other stones , sure I was saving money but I didn't want them and they didn't make me feel happy about my purchase. Everyone is so different with diamond shopping it's great to see a variety of taste's me ? I'd say I'm a f/g/h VVS2 / VS1 / VS2 And almost perfect/ perfect cut :)

I know what you mean! Size matters least to a lot of knowledgable folks as well. One will try to lock in the other three C's first and then that's the only variable that affects price. Besides, 0.9 is over 6mm and that's very respectable and imposing on its own for a size 5 finger! Your bit about "quality over quantity" is an important attribute when shopping for diamond jewelry. :wavey:

Looking forward to hearing more about the VC setting you're considering! He does lovely stuff for sure.
