my question is this:

i have just decided to buy a whiteflash aca

e colour

vs2

plus the sleekline platinum setting which i will probably get turned compass style (n,s,e,w)

budget of 3000 dollars to include the rock and ring

opinions please

Sounds gorgeous. I LOVE, love, love the sleek line setting. The only thing I would say is that perhaps you can come down a bit on both color and clarity and get a larger stone. You can go to F or G in color without any noticeable difference in whiteness. You can also go down to SI1 if the stone is eyeclean without any clarity differences noticeable to the naked eye. Most women I know would prefer a larger stone.

That should be a beautiful diamond. It depends on whether you would rather stick with the colour and clarity specs - which are totally fine - or go a bit bigger, there should be other ACA''s out there which fit the bill.

but only v.good for the rest

is it cos its a h and a stone?

tricky, at this point, the HCA is a moot point. It''s really only for determining if a stone is worth further investigation/more info. It can''t "see" how well the diamond is cut, so it''s more of a "guestimate". Do not worry what it says, you have all the info you need on this stone, and it will be absolutely stunning. I promise.
