Hello,

I am new to Pricescope, but have been reading many posted messages. I am looking to be engaged soon and I am ring shopping. I think the ring I am looking for matches the Rhapsody Pave ring by Whiteflash. Has anyone purchased this style and if so, can you post some pics?
I also have a general question for the forum. I am looking for a center stone that is between 1 and 1.50 carat. My search seems to have concluded with a 1.20, F, VS2. My question is that the diamond has inclusions on the edge. I do not intend to use a tension setting, so does the edge feathers etc. pose a problem? My logic is that if I can keep inclusions near the edge then I can have more sparkle (eye clean) etc. The edge inclusions have a better chance of being covered by a prong. Any input is appreciated. Thanks.

In a VS2 a feather should be no problem. If the diamond is AGS/GIA graded it's probable that you won't perceive inclusions with the naked eye even in the table area. They certainly won't reduce the performance. Of course, this may be a 'mind clean' thing for you, which we heartily respect.

Thank you for the information. It was what I expected, but it is always good to hear from those with more experience. Thanks again.

Did the price of the Rhapsody Pave or ring settings go up within the last month. For some reason I think I have seen a spike? Maybe I am mistaken.

It''s very possible. with metal prices being so high many setting prices have increased too

Confirmed MrsSalvo. Skyrocketing platinum prices have caused adjustments.

Thanks for the info John. Do you think you could post some pictures of the Rhapsody setting and 3 row pave? I looked at the WF website, but could really use some "live" photos. The reason I ask for this on PS is so that I can get some opinions from the other people here too!

Thanks if you are able to accomodate my request!

Hi...the title of this thread leads me to ask a question I''ve wondered for quite a while...hope it isn''t too far off topic...

Does WF offer "ACA" grade mellee for pave? I know that higher quallity, ideal cut diamonds in teensy sizes are readily available, but I wondered if WhiteFlashes'' melee diamonds are even more special...

Thanks!

Thanks for the pics John!

I saw these on the website, but my curiosity was to see additional photos that are not already online. I understand that you all are busy at WF running the business, so I am not looking for you to spend the time on a "photo shoot" just for me. I just thought you may have some examples already on hand from client''s rings, wax etc.. I was hoping to see some that may have different size center stones etc.

No biggie, just was a thought.

Thanks again.
