On another thread dreamer dachie advised arunajane that she felt that her whiteflash ring was slightly smaller and maybe to size up a 1/4 size. As I am in Australia I want to make sure the ring fits from the get go and wonder if I anyone has had any experience on this.

I would agree with this. Or maybe even just 1/8 of a size. My size 6 from WF felt a little snug, and all other 6''s I have tried (standard size in jewelery store cases, luckily for me

) have felt looser.

My DW said she takes a 5. I ordered a 5 from WF. I got a 5 from WF. It fits like a dream.

My ring was very true to size and fits perfectly.

Yep, I will be very interested to hear input from others who have bought from WF - its hard enough to get the correct size from o/seas!

My WF ring size was spot on. I had a 5.5 sized wedding band and replaced it with a WF 5.5 e-ring and band. The size of my new rings is perfect. If anything they feel slightly looser since my new rings are comfort fit and slide more easily.

My eternity band was sized so perfectly, and I have tricky fingers to size- it couldn''t have been better, and I have had all sorts of trouble with rings before as regarding fit.

My scattered band fits very well. It doesn''t fit quite like my Leon, maybe a hair more snug, but it''s also 5mm wide, which I think is probably the reason.

Thankyou all for the input. I think I will just order mine true to size, maybe a titch bigger, as I like mine a lil loose.
Katebar, if anything I will go 1/8 of a size larger, but no more. I have asked Jamie about this though, so I'll let you know what she says.

I finally got sized today - and I am officially a 4.5 - lol, I've been wandering around the last 3 yrs thinking I'm a 3.5!? Oh well

I am normally a size 7. When I got my split shank from WF I had to really force it over my knuckle. It turns out I should have ordered it a bit bigger as its a thicker ring than what I am used to. I had to send it back and have it sized up to a 7 3/4.

My e-ring is from WF and it is an eternity setting so I really needed to get the right size. I was sized as a 4.5 and I told WF that and that''s what they made my ring and it fits perfect not too tight not too spinny. Just my 2cents hope it helps!

LOL!! I guess it was just me then! tee hee... I think Katiedid also sent hers back to be made bigger.

I was told by my WF sales rep that they use the same ring sizer as Tiffany''s. So if you have a Tiffany''s anywhere near where you live, you could always go get sized there (although I don''t have my ring yet, so I don''t know this to be true from personal experience.).

People''s fingers swell and shrink for many reasons on a frequent basis. A little large is better than too small. Most ring stick and ring size gauges are nto perfectly standardized. The wider the ring, the larger finger size is required. Many stores use narrow rings sizing devices and consumers often order rings quite a bit wider than those sizers. It is much like buying a pair of shoes from a new company over the Internet. You just can''t be totally sure their size 6 will fit your size 6 foot. The shape of the toes aqnd the instep will all play a part.` Try to use a ring or sizer of width simlar to the ring you are buying or tell the seller what mm width ring sizer was used. We know how to adjust for these variations, but getting this detail is important for a proper fit.

EmeraldCutQuest teacherk Lorelei Ellen btrflygrl23 purrfectpear. Well 6 of you are happy so that sounds encouraging

newringgirl70 Thanks for this info. I am pretty confident my jeweller measured me Ok too
oldminer I hear what you are saying. It is the risk we take buying on line whether its is shoes or a ring. Earrings are ok though

arjunajane I spoke with Joe the designer and we have agreed to keep it as is. He said tightness can be a problem if the ring is thicker. Mine is very thin so fingers crossed + I have lost 4 kilos since having my finger sized and maybe a teensy bit of it came off my middle finger

Yep, I was told the same thing so I got sized at Tiffany as a 5.25. Do you have access to Tiffany in Australia, though, katebar? If not, I wouldn''t worry too much, because I got sized at my local jeweler as a 5.25 also. I would say my WF ring is true to size.

Hey, I lost several pounds awhile back, and some of it was definitely in my finger. It was loose to begin with, and then it got to the point I had to have it resized. So I bet you will be just fine, all things considered.

Funny, my experience seems to be the opposite of everyone else''s! I ordered a 6.75, and the ring feels slightly bigger than that, more like a 7. It lines up pretty much exactly with my size 7 right-hand rings. My college class ring, which is definitely a 6.75, feels smaller. It doesn''t bother me that much since it''s not big enough to fall off, but it slides around a little more than I liked. I didn''t send it back because I didn''t want to part with it!

I just picked up my rings and they were all sized accurately. :-)
