So throughout various threads I have been reading about Whiteflash diamonds. I just went on their website last night and I think that I have found my perfect diamond! It is not an 8*, but it is Ideal cut which is nice. My question is this are they good about returns? I have decided to order a K colored diamond (I know a lot of people do not like that color), but I already have 2 J-K colored stones and they are really not as scary as some people think, plus I like that they look warm to me. anyway, The diamond is graded by EGL and if the grading is off, and it turns up really yellow, I will send it back. Do they charge a re-stocking fee if I simply want to exchange it?

My second question is what type of mounting would you suggest to best enhance the color? and what color gold?

you can read WF''s return policy here.

I''d put it in a WG or plat. setting. you can see the K colored stone thread here for some setting ideas..

I would only look at WhiteFlash stones that are in the A Cut Above section or the Expert Selection. Those are the stones they have in-house. Those have photos, idealscope images, and certificates posted. I think all those stones have AGS or GIA certificates, so I''m wondering if the stone you ordered is a vistual stone. Do you have the link?

Ditto. WF has in-house stones as well as virtual stones that are available to a bunch of online vendors, sounds like if it''s EGL cert it would be a virtual stone which means it''s hit or miss as to how it looks. I would honestly only focus on Expert Selection if you are looking for non branded H&A but still ideal. I wouldn''t trust a virtual search engine with an EGL ''ideal'' stone. But good luck!
