Whiteflash Diamond Bracelet Prices

Hello - I am a long time lurker on Pricescope but I felt the need to post today. I have been monitoring Whiteflash''s three prong bracelet for quite some time. Especially after seeing Flowers bracelet. I just checked the prices today, talk about sticker shock!

I can''t believe how much the price has gone up over a matter of days.

Hubby was going to buy the 5ct one for Christmas. In hindsight, wish we had bought it a couple of weeks ago for $5400. This is a case of non buyer''s remorse. *sigh* Unfortunately with this price increase the bracelet is now out of our price range.

I have not been watching prices like you but if the price for that bracelet did in fact double in the last few weeks, I would think that would have to mean that they have changed their bracelets in some way. There is no way the cost of diamonds has changed so drastically that they would have to do that, right?

I just checked out Whiteflash''s website, and I see what you mean about the bracelet prices increasing drastically. I know the cost of diamonds and precious metals has gone up, but by that much?!? That seems hard to believe. I would email them or call them and make sure these prices are correct. I''m really glad I got my 3 carat bracelet a year ago. It was around $2400 then, and a lot more affordable. There''s no way the hubby would buy me a bracelet at these prices.

Wow! The increase in prices are unbelievable!

I was considering purchasing a 4ct bracelet from them in March and it was $3750 at that time. Shortly after, the price increased by a little, but now it''s $7,550!

That''s more than twice the price!

The stock photos look exactly the same as before, so I wonder why the huge price jump.

PS/ The 5cttw was $4295 at that time.

Thanks for the advice. So I am not the only one who thinks that is a dramatic increase. I have just called Whiteflash and the person has confirmed for me that that is the correct price. She said that the price on the website before was a pricing error and was corrected to the correct price. The difference is now they hand make the bracelets. Still I can''t fathom that the additional labor would be an additional $5000.

This is on top of the increase a couple of months ago. Gold prices haven''t gone up recently, I haven''t heard about diamond pricing increasing especially for melee. At this price the bracelet is similiar to most designers.


This reminds me when Signed Pieces debut of the Raphael eternity band. I had bought mine for about $4000 (2.77cttw). After it became such a huge seller for them a couple of months later it was $6000. Insane! This time I was not lucky enough to beat the increase.

Guess I am not lucky enough to be the owner of an ACA diamond bracelet. Coda and Flower 12 enjoy your beautiful bracelet.

I will contact Wink and get some pricing from him.

Holy Toledo!!!!!!!!! I got my 3ct. 3 prong last year for $2400. I don't understand them saying that now they "hand make" the bracelet? Looking at the mounting, it doesn't look any different from mine. Seems like if they were hand making them now they'd look a bit different? I had called Wink last year about doing a bracelet for me but his price then couldn't compare with Whiteflash's because he said his would be hand made. Will be interesting to see what price he quotes you.

I just used my letter of verification from them for my insurance for this bracelet. Now, I see it's underinsured. Great, now I'll have to do something about that.

you guys might want to ask WF about using something like a stuller mounting with wf aca melee if you don't want the hand-made option. they do buy from stuller and adwar, etc so if you can get a ready-made mounting aka if you do something like a basic 4 prong basket line tennis bracelet, then you'd probably save a bundle over the hand-made.

cind, maybe last year or in previous years they used pre-existing ready made settings in which case that could account for the price difference. possibly!

Thanks for bringing this up.

I do know we discovered a prior calculation error which was making some combinations quite ''competitive'' (too competitive actually). I just looked at the old and new prices and we will research it further.

I also want to clarify that our bracelet settings are brought to Whiteflash. All of the setting of diamonds is done by hand, in-house, but the settings themselves are not handmade.

Gee, I guess I''m glad I already have a 4 ct. tennis bracelet, too, even though it''s not from WF. That is way too high, IMO.

I also have been looking at WF tennis bracelets and just yesterday noticed a price increase. I swear one day it was one price and the next day it jumped.

Aug 30 the price was listed as $1,975 (cheapest 3 prong, white gold, 2 ct total)

Sept 5 the new price is $2,805 (cheapest 3 prong, white gold, 2 ct total)

I am devistated because I was on the verge of ordering one and even contacted WF, but the increse has me rethinking. What happened???

Thankfully John is checking it out! Something must be wrong. You can understand a 5% or even 10% increase, but not double.

I bought a WF 1 ct, 5 stone, WG, shared prong ring in May and it is now 50% more.

Thank you to all of you for bringing this to our attention. Yes, you are right, there is way too large of a price jump and we have been looking into this glitch for the past couple of hours. There has been an increase in diamond melee prices. When the new prices were entered into our system, the automated pricing system extended the diamond melee prices incorrectly which resulted in the over inflated final pricing. You will note that all the bracelets in our catalog have now been deactivated. As soon as we have fixed the problem, I will post again to let you know that the corrected prices have been loaded.

One good thing that has come from this is the incredible response we have had both here on Pricescope and from people e-mailing and calling in. Thank you all for taking the time to contact us or to comment here.

Hello all. Thanks for your patience.

In analyzing our programming we discovered inconsistencies in several places. We have now corrected the errors and, to our delight, some of the more expensive offerings have actually been reduced in price. Some prices were increased, but we think they are practical changes in light of the rising costs of rough and precious metals.
