Whiteflash Danielle Jazz Band or BGD Bezel Band

Since I have pretty much decided to keep my AVC in it's solitaire I of course need more stacking bands. In was thinking of getting two of the bezel bands, one with blue sapphires and one with pink to represent my two kids.

Now there are all the choices of 3/4 or full eternity and milgrain or not, white gold, rose gold or platinum as well. At least I am not in a hurry.

Whiteflash is cheaper for the 3/4 but I think the gemstones are a little smaller. I am not sure if it is worth it to pay more for the larger size.

I do love a full eternity but for the price I am not sure that I want to go that way and be stuck later with a ring that doesn't fit. My fingers have stayed the same size for most of my life, but you never know.

I would love to hear some opinions and if anyone has pictures of either band I would love that too.

Thanks.

It looks like if I go with BGD it is actually cheaper to do the full eternity, probably because the 3/4 would be custom. I could afford the platinum more with the whiteflash 3/4 though. I wish I could see them both in person.

I'd recommend adding the links so that people can look at the specific rings you are talking about. I personally would get two totally different style bands rather than two just alike with different stones. You wouldn't wear the pink and the blue sapphires at the same time, would you?

The 3/4 is a little safer if you are young because you never know if your ring size might change later in life. I do prefer platinum especially if your e-ring is platinum.

I have been debating if I should get them both the same style or not. I would wear them together some days and not other days. I enjoy variety. My daughter liked the jazz band because she liked the shapes all being the same so I would probably get that one in the pink.

I am in my 40's so the changing ring size isn't too much of an issue but my finger is larger and smaller throughout the year so picking a size to go with in the 3/4 is a bit of a challenge, I don't want a lot of spinning.

My solitaire is in white gold but I tend to wear off the rodium plating quickly and I am not sure how I feel about unplated. So far though I have been wearing this ring for 4 months and it looks fine. Maybe my other white gold ring was just not as good of quality?

Hi Rena7, which did you decide to go with? Photos? Pretty please? Thinking of getting the WF Jazz band too. :naughty:

Sorry, I missed your post. I still haven't made up my mind. I have printed out pictures though and even used my pink highlighter on them.

I think I will go with whiteflash and get the blue sapphire first since the pink one would be semi custom and I couldn't return it. I am still going back and forth on the metal choice though. I also think I should wait until after my hubby's birthday to order myself a gift so I will probably order sometime in March.

Are you thinking of getting the diamond band or one with gemstones and diamonds? I really like the all diamond one as well. I will definitely post back when I get one.

David Klass is taking my and hubby's wedding bands that we don't wear anymore and turning it into a band with blue sapphire and diamonds like this band on JA

So I was thinking about a pink sapphire and diamond in yellow gold or rose gold for stacking. But I got lucky this morning and found this on loupetroupe. It is a size 7 so I will have to resize to a 6 if it works with the other rings and I decide to keep it.

Wow, that was a lucky find. What a great price. I would love to see pictures of both your new rings when you get them.

I was reading this and my daughter wanted to know what I was laughing about.

Your great find pushed me over the edge and I went ahead and ordered the blue sapphire jazz band in platinum last night. I had enough money set aside to afford one at the moment so my husband said that's what the money is for so go ahead. I still don't have a birthday present for him though. :?

A happy wife is a great gift  ;)) hahaha  But now that you are not obsessing over rings and staring and reading about stacking bands, you can shop for a gift ;)) for him

Yep, my hubby is pretty great and spoils me and the kids pretty good. He got up this morning and started a loaf of bread in the bread maker before he left town for the weekend for a business trip. I was so surprised. I definitely need to find him something nice for his birthday now I do have more time to look. I have to keep myself busy in the 10 business days it takes to make the ring. That sure seems like forever right now.

I will definitely post pics when I get it. I can't wait to see both of your rings. I have a bit of a stacking band addiction.

Whiteflash said the ring should be delivered on March 6, can't wait.

YAY... waiting is the worse isn't it!! You can keep busy by shopping for a gift for our awesome hubby ;))

I got the ring yesterday and have been playing around with the different bands... I don't know how I am going to stack it together with the band that DK is making for me coz I am running out of finger-estate. It is pretty and very delicate.... looks nothing like the photo on their website.

Edit to add, the pink you see in some of the photos are reflection off my pink phone cover. Forgot/too lazy to pop it off

I was wondering if you had gotten yours yet. It looks so pretty on your hand. I say mix it up and wear it whatever way you feel like that day. I love variety.

I've been stuck in the house the last two days due to the weather so that makes the waiting even harder. We shall see about tomorrow, they are saying it might snow.

My ring came yesterday. :appl: :appl: :appl:

The fed ex guy did make me wait all day which was fun, not.

I haven't taken any photos yet since my dh has been sick this weekend.

It is a very small band, but I think with the size of my solitaire it makes the diamond pop. I wasn't sure if it would be big enough to wear alone with the solitaire but it definitely holds it's own. The color of the sapphires is very nice I was worried they would be dark. They are a nice medium blue.

I'm going to do a show me the bling thread, but I thought I should post a picture here as well. I can't seem to get more than one uploaded. Here goes.
