I was looking at a Danhov Abbraccio ring (AE100) but I can't seem to find an H&A diamond on James Allen that I'm happy with. Do you think that It would be a good idea for me to order the diamond from Whiteflash and then get them to ship it to James Allen so that James Allen could piece the ring together? James Allen does not allow me to just purchase the ring itself and there's not that many dealers of Danhov where I live (Vancouver, Canada).

Thanks in advance

There is risk involved. Vendors typically will not take responsibility for diamonds that they did not sell, and it would be tragic if the diamond chipped during the setting process. :o ;( Also many insurance companies will not insure diamonds that are loose, however I have heard of companies that will insure the stone if it's being set, you would have to inquire with your particular insurance company. Is the diamond from WF in house or will they have to call it in? It's possible that James Allen could also call in that same diamond. It's worth contacting them and asking.

The diamond is actually in house because it was one of Whiteflash's ACA diamonds. I guess anytime you have more parties involved it incurs more risk. I wouldn't even know if I was getting the right diamond in the end. Thanks Christina ::)
