There are other brands, online Crafted by Infinity, Brian Gavin Signature H&A, Hearts on Fire from some store jewellers, Eightstar and so on. It depends on what type appeal to you most, also some Infinity come in lower colours if you like those. I would not call any one brand The Best as I prefer to look at each diamond as an individual.Date: 7/2/2009 6:16:10 AM

is the wf aca h&a diamond the best that there is, that's the impression that i get.
thankyou.
Well yes, h&a is a type of precision cut. A h&a branded cut has to meet certain standards as decreed by the creators of the brand, there is the possibility that those might vary slightly between brands.Date: 7/2/2009 6:29:40 AM

so the h&a range is the benchmark?
To elaborate on this, the proportions of a diamond are very important, the branded h&a also have fine proportions such as depth, table, angles and finish which help drive the light return ( especially angles) and also top optical symmetry. Optical symmetry is not the same as lab graded symmetry you see on the grading reports and the overall cut precision is essential to get this result. With the branded h&a I mentioned above you can be fairly sure you are getting a diamond with not only excellent optical symmetry and resultant h&a patterning, but excellent light return.Date: 7/2/2009 6:33:03 AM

H&A is just about optical symm, not necessary ideal for light returns, but these branded cuts also have good light returns.
Hope it helped and you are welcome!Date: 7/2/2009 6:37:43 AM
