Hi everyone

I’m exploring options to resell my engagement ring, originally purchased from Whiteflash. It features an A CUT ABOVE center stone with an AGS certificate (from before the GIA merger), and I still have all original documentation.

I know resale can be tricky, so I’m looking for insight into realistic value, trusted platforms (like LoupeTroop), and whether anyone here might be interested or has tips from experience.

I’m not looking to upgrade, just aiming to find a buyer who’ll appreciate the quality and craftsmanship of this piece.

Photos taken on iPhone with specs enhanced on lens in natural light, no filters, no edits. Happy to share more on request.

I’ll leave others to advise you on the value. My tips would be to stick to the safe methods of payment and shipping when it comes to the actual sale. Send it with insurance. If the transaction is going through PayPal, stick with goods and services (which has seller protection as well as buyer protection). Friends and family seems like a lucrative choice because it has lower fees but unless you have absolute trust in your buyer, meaning you’re selling to someone you know well already, it carries a risk.

It’s rare for things to go wrong, but when they do… well, it’s a lot of money.

All VERY solid advice. Thank you so much

Hi! The side stones are earth-mined, hand-selected by Whiteflash to complement the center ACA. They are 0.25 ct each (0.50 ctw) and have the same clarity grade (SI2) and near-colorless appearance. While they are not ACA-branded stones, the cut quality was chosen to match the brilliance and performance of the center diamond beautifully.

They are eye-clean and the symmetry across all three stones makes the ring look seamless in person. I can send close-ups or videos if helpful!
