White Gold ?

If you all were choosing between 18k white gold and 14k white gold, which would you choose and why?

Since I am a little rough on jewelry the only thing I would pick in 18K gold is earrings. Also since I don''t have any problems with 14K gold I would rather spend less on the gold and more on the sparkler I put in the gold.

I guess it depends on the alloy being used, and whether there is a difference in colour or appearance between them - if its and ering, I do think 18k is more classic
