White Gold Next to Platinum

Hi, I don''t know much about this stuff so this may sound like a dumb question but my engagement ring is platinum and I was wondering whether it would a) look wierd or b)damage the wedding band if i chose a wedding band in white gold and wore them next to each other. I have hear different stories about how platinum is much stronger so it will eat away at the white gold but I didnt know if that was true or not. If anyone could give some advice it would be greatly appreciated!!! Thanks!!!

If you wear the white gold wedding band next to the platinum e-ring, the platinum ring will rub at the WG band. If you plan on keeping and wearing both rings for years to come, then it is best to go with a platinum wedding band.
