White gold head with ding marks

Hey everyone! As you all probably know, I have only had my ring for a very short time...and I noticed that there are ding marks all along the head that is holding my diamond. I don''t think that the diamond is going to fall out or anything...it just doesn''t look very good. I have had the ring a little over a month...what do you think I should do? The ring and head is both 14K WG and I don''t think I can return it anymore, but I really don''t like the idea that my ring is going to continue to get ding marks in it. Is there any ideas that you have or anyone else that has had this problem? What can I do to get the ding marks out and pervent them from happening again? I work as a hostess and am a full time student...I am not rough with my ring at all. I don''t understand how I could have gotten the ding marks to begin with. Any thought or ideas? Thanks!
