White gold bezel studs with rose gold jackets? BGD questions

I have BGD studs (approx. 2.4 ctw) set in a white gold bezel setting. I am getting jackets, and thinking about going for rose gold instead of white gold. Has anyone done this? I generally like a mixed look, but wonder if I should just play it safe and get white gold. Also, not sure what the difference is between the regular and hearts jackets; they look very similar. I am consulting with the lovely BGD folks, but can't find many pictures. Thanks!

Wow, 1.2 ct stones in a bezel and then in a jacket is going to be pretty huge! Are you sure that will work?

Personally, I would only do rose gold if I were putting pink diamonds in them. I don't think it has all that great of a look to have white diamonds in rose gold.

I have the hearts jackets and I love them--if you look closely at the pictures, you'll see that the hearts jackets have a sort of scalloped edge, whereas the regular ones have metal showing around the diamonds. I personally liked the scalloped look better. Hope that helps!

I would stick with white gold, just my personal preference!

I have not tried mixing different color metal, but I do not mind wearing white gold or platinum with yellow gold. The look of mixed metal color will be interesting, just like the Two-tone Rolex Datejust. Get what you like.

Not sure what "regular" jackets mean. I have seen non-hearts jackets with either straight (round) metal edges or scalloped edges. My hearts jackets were made by Whiteflash. They have scalloped edges. They were made to fit my 1.44 ctw (0.72 ct each) diamond studs. The jackets are in 18K WG, but my stud setting is in 14K WG. I also have 2.44 ctw diamond studs in platinum. When I need extra bling, I would pair them up with the same hearts jackets. The bigger diamonds in the hearts jackets look like fireballs. I love the way they look (sparkle madly).

I am attaching a photo of both sizes diamond studs with the hearts jackets. Hope it helps.

Note - My stud settings are 3-prong and 6-prong Martini, but yours are bezel. Bezel studs may need larger jackets (larger openings).

Wow FD, that is great you are able to use the jackets with your larger studs, too! The way yours are, they are not too big.
