It’s not often you get to do something where you think – even as it’s happening – ‘this is a memory I’ll have with me till the day I die’. But this was one.

When we first decided to have a few friends over to help us celebrate, we never anticipated it becoming so significant and meaningful. But when I stood up today in front of our family and friends and watched the tears run down Tim’s cheeks as he told everyone there that the one thing he regretted about moving ‘the wrong direction’ around the world was the single day it had robbed him of, and the one sunrise he’d missed seeing with me, it hit me with stunning effect what a lucky woman I am that, after 25 years, I’m married to a man who still wants the whole world to know how much he loves me.

The final line of the vows that I restated today is : “for this is my beloved, and this is my friend.” And I can emphatically say that this is still true. I’m that woman who got to marry the man who is the love of her life and her best friend, and I am grateful to God every day for this immeasurable gift.

Thank you all for helping me celebrate the most special part of my life, and for all being generous enough to share your good wishes with me; it takes a special person to celebrate unselfishly the good fortune of another, and I can truly say that PriceScope is filled with special people. Tim and I send you all our warmest and humblest thanks, and wish you all equal blessings in your lives.

Warm thanks Loriken, Skippy, merrymunky, ZoeBartlett, diamondseeker, MonkeyPie, latebloomer, purselover, LaurenThePartier, princessplease, monarch64, Tacori E-ring, OUpeargirl and Shopaholic,

We’ve had a great, romantic, revitalizing time! Only 2 more days, sadly, till tim leaves to go home, but I have another 2 weeks after that, which will be great. Tim and I are trying to squeeze out every drop that we can – both of our time here with family and friends and also our time together. I’m hoping we go home well rested and refreshed.

This really has been right up there with the best vacations we’ve ever had – just a dream run.
