While the Cat Lovers Are Away...

Lovely collection, thanks for sharing.

DK :)) with the cat purring next to me as I type

Ahhhhhhhh!! I loooove them!! You so rarely post pics of your pretties!

OK I have to go stare s'more.

Yay! You're back! I am flattered that with all you have going on these days you would pop in to comment. Now where oh where are all the pics form Vegas?!!

All gorgeous - thank you for sharing! And now I'm going to have to start searching for a blue tourmaline like yours, which I previously didn't even know I wanted

Minous, yes that's my (not so) little troublemaker. Want to swap some of your delicious mint garnets for a fat and naughty kitty? [emoji23]

Hopefully its still okay to bump this with the catlover's on their way back :shhh: Beautiful collection especially love the mint not-an-asscher!

Marlow, I hope you post regarding your experience at the gem show in France-photos of bling and food!

:appl: :appl: :appl: :appl: :appl: So nice to see your beauties!!!!! I don't understand how that Namibian doesn't meet the HG criteria, though.

Beautiful collection. That zircon IS very lemony.

... This one isn't so big, but it kept shouting at me for attention when I was taking pics of the others (you know how immature chrysos can be  ).

HA HA HAAAAAA! I needed a good laugh, thanks.

Beautiful collection.

I second this! I hadn't even heard of it but when I looked it up, it looked like a fairly large show

Oh good, Pie, glad you thought that was funny. I'm happy to know that I'm not the only one who sees personalities in their stones. ;))

The second largest in Europe - a pretty village and ( Uli Zeisberg told me) very good food and wine ( Alsace/ Elsass)!!!

In three weeks is St. Marie aux Mines in France!!! The whole village is a gem show!!!

Hope to find some fine and rare gems for my collection!! Maybe a sapphire from France...

Have fun in Sainte Marie!
I think Denis Gravier has some sapphires from France (at least he had last time I saw him in Tucson).

Thank you dioptase!! :wavey:

Yes, he offered some last Munichshow ( and beautiful red beryl too)!

We will see what I will get???

So?! Marlow: anything to show us? We are waiting...

Minou, I'm late and have nothing new to share.....

But I had to post and say how gorgeous these stones are!!! That bright lemony Barry is blissful. I love his faceting. Kind of looks vintage with the chunky monkey pavilion facets.

And how can you say that blue tourm is too big? Elegant! Stately! Too big? Fie!!!

Nothing but a choir of angels would suffice for that step cut merelani. I'd almost sell my soul for it.

Thanks for continuing to champion the cause of colored stones everywhere. The world needs more color!!!!!!!

MB, I'm late to the party too but had to stop in and let you know I love every single stone in your collection - they are all exceptional and make me drool! You have a marvelous eye for CSs, it was a pleasure to view your stones!

Awww, Uppy! So nice to see you around these parts! I feel honored that you would check in. You are one of the principle culprits responsible for my love of CS!

Junebug: thank you for such kind words. And I love your drop of pure sunshine!

Now Marlow: do NOT leave us hanging! :naughty:

Whoa - what gorgeous gems! The spess and the trapiche in particular caught my eye.

The show is in two and a half weeks!!!!

I bought an interesting brazilian alexandrite from Litnon - still waiting - a darker bluishgreen with a change to blueviolet - perfect for a gem nerd like me...
A long time on the homepage - maybe the first pic was responsible. A 0,57 ct for a very good price and with a good clarity.

And a very light violet small ( 0,35 ct ) taaffeite from Multicolorgems - think only one day offered! The stone is from Tanzania - so I have
now Sri Lanka, Burma and Tanzania complete.

I will post some pics!

Whoops! For some reason, I thought it was this weekend!

So enough time for you to visit the show.... :D

Those green trillions are out of this world. fantastic collection.
