Here is the first GIA for the SuperCert.

Here is the James Allen that scored 0.9 on the HCA. However the GIA shows more inclusions.

What would you guys choose?

I like the crown and pavilion angles better on the James Allen stone better than the superbcert stone, though I would like to see ideal scope images before picking one over the other.

Gosh, that would be a toss up to me. They are close to the same except you pay a little more for the E color than the F. I don''t think you can go wrong with either one. Perhaps I''d make the decision based on who had the setting I liked best!

i like the ja as well. ask if it is eye clean.

I don''t think you need to ask about eye clean on a VS1. You generally have difficulty seeing inclusions with 10x magnification on a VS1 stone.

edit: something wierd with the excel diamond... the mega-scope and the imagescope photo dont agree with the gia angles listed on the cert even if ya take the rounding into account.
makes ya go hmmmmmmmmmm

the excel diamond is a steep/deep by the mega-scope numbers and imagescope image while not always that bad there are better options available.

The angles of the JA stone arent my favorite but they are the better of the 2.
Would like to see an ideal-scope image before saying if its a go or not.

The JA stone on the GIA report shows a feather at the edge of the diamond. Do you think this can be hidden in one of the prongs? It is a VS1 stone, do you think it would be visible? I am goin to get a Tiffany''s classic setting.

You won''t be able to see inclusions in a VS1. VS1 means it is even hard to see inclusions with 10x magnification. So you do not need to worry about inclusions at all with a VS1. That''s why I chose VS1, too.

I have to agree with Storm that the JA would be my pick of the 2.

Here is the James Allen Idealscope picture. Does this look better than the SuperbCert?
