Which Tiffany style setting for 0.8 ct solitaire diamond?

Hi all,

I am hoping to purchase my engagement ring shortly and love the look of the Whiteflash Classic Tiffany and Vatche U113. However, my diamond will be ~0.8 ct so I am worried that these bands may dwarf the diamond. My favourite out of these two is the Vatche, as it has a more rounded edge and slightly thinner band.

Does anyone have these rings in a similar sized diamond that they could post?

Alternatively, are there any other similar settings that you would recommend? (thin band, U shaped prong, small donut) I saw the following but could not see many rings of these on Pricescope to see what actual rings look like:

I have been searching the forums and saved some photos but am still very confused with what to choose. Whiteflash have provided me with good customer service so I would like to purchase through them unless there is something a lot cheaper or amazing somewhere else.

The vatche is VERY delicate in person! The way it tapers helps keep the setting from overwhelming the stone. Look at the top down pics in the link below:

I also like the last setting (link) you posted. I didnt see anywhere they said how thick the shank was. I would find that out
and probably go with a thinner one.

I have the Vatché and love it. I get so many compliments on it. Pics of my ring wouldn't be very helpful, as it is 1.5 ct. Honestly, I'm not sure which Tiffany-inspired setting you go with will have a huge impact. On Pricescope we all obsess about these things, but I bet no one else notices. To get some ideas of what a 0.8 ct solitaire looks like, I'd suggest included tiffany solitaires in your browsing as they really do look quite similar. In fact, you could go to Tiffany and try on! The band on the actual Tiffany setting is definitely a little bit thicker than the Vatché, though. I consider this a benefit, especially for stones <1 carat as they allow the stone to have more of a presence against the shank of the ring, making it look slightly bigger.
