Hi All!

I''m new here and could use some good advice....and a little "enabling"!!!

In a couple of weeks I''ll be celebrating my 10th wedding Anniversary. I''ve had my eye on the Schlumberger band from Tiffany''s called the "16 stone X''s" band (I love that band!!!) for years now....and while I love it, I want to make sure to get something I will treasure forever and pass down to my daughter later.

Anyways, my dilemma is this: Do I go with this band I love?

OR

Do I get something different (I LOVE cushion-cut diamonds) and perhaps go elsewhere (Tiffany IS pricey, but so, so beautiful).

Thing is......I''d love an Anniversary band, but I''m not stubborn to suggestions of what my other options are. Any ideas/suggestions would be greatly appreciated! TIA!

If you love the Tiffany ring, I think it would make a nice gift. Or if you''d rather have more diamonds and less metal, you could go with a shared prong anniversary ring, either a 5 stone or full eternity with smaller stones. Signedpieces/Facets has some nice ones if you want to wear the ring alone. If you want to wear it with your existing rings, you may have to go for one that has a lower setting depending on your current rings.

Thanks for the advice and link Diamondseeker!

Problem is, I love both!

Upon closer inspection and actually trying the Tiffany Schlumberger band on, I realize it won''t sit flush with my engagement ring as the "x''s" stick out somewhat. I''d probably have to wear it on my right hand.

I do love the shared setting and think it would be beautiful as well.

What are people doing to mark Anniversaries these days?? Are the bands the most popular?? Or are rings becoming the new trend now???

Ice Princess! Happy 10th Anniversary soon. I would go try on as many styles of anniversary rings you can find to see if you can find one you like. The facets - signed pieces collection are gorgeous. I can''t wait to see what you get.

Ice Princess, Our 10th anniversary is in the middle of June and I am getting a new ering and band with a diamond upgrade. My husband is getting a matching wedding band. Originally I was just going to reset my diamond but figured after all that work and money why not get a new diamond as well!

I think couples can mark their annivesaries how ever they choose and nothing is incorrect! Get what you love and you''ll treasure it forever! Happy Anniversary!

Are you thinking of a RHR for your anniversary ring? If so, I love the idea of a 3 or 5-stone, oh yum-o! My pal, Demelza, has the most gorgeous Sasha Primak 5 stone ring EVER! You can do a search for some pictures. It''s TDF!

I *hope* to join the 5-Stone Club sometime myself, but right now the darned BUDGET just isn''t allowing it!

I love killer 3-stones, too, though... and yes, I admit it, I even buy into the smaltzy, maltzy "past/present/future" thing. Oh yes I do!!!

Congratulations on your (almost) 10th wedding anniversary! We celebrated our 10th May 2007 and my DH gifted me with a beautiful 3 stone ring. For our 11th anniversary and recieved a new wedding band to wear with it and that has since become my wedding set worn on my left ring finger. There is no right or wrong, it should be what you know that you will be happy with.

I think the Tiffany ring is a nice choice since it is something that you have wanted for so long, but if it will not be able to be worn with your e-ring (if that is what you were planning on doing) then that might be enough to sway me towards something different.

My husband and I are celebrating our 19th anniversary this summer. We decided years ago that for our 20th we were going to get new rings and go on the honeymoon we never had. This year we decided to get the rings now so we can do the honeymoon next year and not have both things in the same budget year. So, I got my new WF ring last week. I got an ering since I didn''t get one when we got married. I always wanted a 1ct. solitaire so that is what I got. Get what you love and make it work. Enjoy!

Be sure to share some pictures when you get your new ring!
