Which style of chain is best?

I bought my BM a necklace that they are wearing with their dresses and they didn''t come with chains. I''m going the inexpensive route because I am not sure if any of them will wear the necklace again, but I want to make sure that the chain isn''t crap either. I prefer the first chain because of the look of it, but am worried it wont be sturdy enough, but I own one simialr and i held up fine.

Here is the locket I got them, its engraved with the first letter of their names.

Here is the first chain I prefer because it looks more delicate to me

I vote for more delicate, although I think either would look nice.

I like this one 2mm is still delicate but sturdier, a too thin chain can look a little out of place with a bigger piece at the end.
