Stone A: 0.71

Stone B: 0. 61

Please explain why/why not. Thanks PS

just curious why these two are your only options? Price? Anything graded 'good' really isn't very good at all.
 
These are some fashion jewelry mall rings I’m looking at… I do have some excellent cut stones already…
 
Neither, IMO. Obviously, they aren’t GIA Excellent cut graded, which is a minimum requirement and still too broad a range. Both are cut too deep so they face up smaller than well cut stones. Why pay for .71ct or .61ct when they appear smaller? Just buy a smaller, well cut diamond for around the same price that will likely actually appear larger since the proportions work well together. GL
 
Agree that both stones will look small for their carat weight and isn't well cut.

I have to also say "neither". These aren't well cut at all.
 
even if you are looking at 'fashion' rings at the mall why waste your money on something that, in the long run, isn't going to be as sparkly an d beautiful as possible?
 
I may just get one custom made, I just didn’t want to pay a lot of money…
 
It isn’t money well spent if you are paying more for lesser quality.
