Which stone is the best choice

I have two stones that I'm looking at and needing help to determine which is best-both are GIA certified round stones.
Option 1- .86 h si1 very good cut for 3970
Option 2- .90 j si1 very good cut for 3900

The jeweler with option 1 is local and super responsive.


The jeweler with option 2 is not local, but I'll be traveling to his area soon -he will also reset the stone for free. I have a white gold wedding ring that I'm changing the center stone in. Will the h color be much better than the larger j stone.

Any advice is welcome. My goal is to get the best quality for my budget (swapping out from a .5 stone).

We would need to see the GIA certs to see the stats for the stones. Generally it is recommended to go with excellent cut grade.

I agree. Limit your search to GIA Excellent cut stones only and you'll have much better chance of getting a nice stone.
