Here are some of my top ring setting contenders.
Setting 1 - L-O-V-E-D THIS SETTING IRL. Only problem is I didn't get to see it in daylight and I am concerned it is going to look like an obvious round in cushion setting since the halo stones are bit larger. ALSO I don't know of anybody who has used this jeweler before although they have great reviews online. What is it about this setting that looks different to me from every other one I have seen?! Oh btw the center stone is not set in this ring yet hence the crazy prongs.

Setting 2: Saw this setting today and also loved it! It gave a more rectangular cushion feel which is something I really like. The stock photo is linked:

Setting 3: Setting has more of a square cushion shape. I believe it is a Martin Flyer design. The center diamond is just sitting on top of the prongs for this setting

Setting 4: Tacori 2620. I decided that if I chose this setting I would choose it with center stone set within the halo not hovering over it.
Anddddd a photo of Ring 2, Ring 3 and Ring 4 all together (and in order) - BTW IRL the round diamond is less noticeable in setting @2 than #3 as opposed to how it looks in this photo - weird!! I think it's because the center stone is not set in setting #3 shown here just placed on top.
Well watdya think?! Should I risk it and go for setting #1, go a little out of my pricepoint for the Tacori or choose a second favorite - setting #2? Or is Setting 3 an equal contender?
