These are heated sapphires. Would you choose the lighter or darker one?

1.32.

Are you going to set it? .94 might get even darker.

Ah, yes, good point! I didn't even think of that!!!

I wonder if the little window in the 1.32 would close when set....

I've seen worse.

Does the .94 have a window too but it's harder to see due to the "darkness"? Not sure.

Out of the two I much prefer the lighter one. It has some nice sparkle. And both will darken when set and I think the first would be too dark (for me at least)

I would choose the lighter one, as it looks very dark in the hand shot and not blue enough to me.

It's a very personal choice but I think I would also go for the light one!

100% the lighter for me. At its best/worst, I'm still fond of it.

Thanks everyone! About a $200 difference but I will probably go for the lighter one!

Much prefer the lighter one but I’m bias as I have one very similar in colour myself. It has a lovely sparkle in your video!

another vote for the lighter one. But remember to check dimensions not just carat weight. The lighter Colour sapphire weighs more but it has a bigger bottom so both are a similar size.
the first is lovely, especially when the light hits it right, but because of it’s deeper tone you won’t catch much of that once it’s set.

The first one will probably look really dark when set.

@Bron357 yes, I needed a stone that was 7x5... Thanks for the info!

Good choice! The blue tones on a sapphire are fascinating to look at, so the light one will give you more smiles when you look at it. I have both a dark and a light, and I find myself staring at the light one a lot more.
