Option 1: Bead-set pave band in a thin channel, .55ctw, full eternity, 18k white gold, 2mm width. $675.

Option 2: Scattered diamond band, ~.25ctw, full eternity, 14k white or rose gold (not sure), 4mm width, $695.

To wear stacked with my Dream half eternity band of 5pt. stones, 2.3mm width, or paired with e-ring (option 1) or solo (option 2).

IDjewelry. Thus the fab price. They happened to have my size in stock. If I wanted one made, it would cost more.

Any concerns about full eternity in that style? It is 1/4 size bigger than I wear already so there is some wiggle room. Do you think that is ok?

I like #2. More versatile, less headache wrt cautious wearing and cleaning, sizable.

Apparently not down, but could shave metal off interior to make it bigger by a half size maybe.

I like them both, but I voted for #1 because of the sparkle factor.

hmm...you have posted about wanting a scattered band so that might get my vote. although personally I like number 1 the best.

are you still getting the three-stone? because that is my vote 8)

I vote for BOTH! Why pick one. I love them both. You need them both.

Yeah, what she said. I'm impressed with the prices also.

i like #1

It's more blingy and good value for money too! =)

Definitely option #1! Very classic and timeless. The second would be great as a RHR though; it looks like a great fun ring but I don't know whether the price is prohibitive for a fun ring.

I would think the channel set of option 1 would make a full eternity very comfortable and wearable.

Dreamer D, I voted for #1. I think both are gorgeous but the first one will certainly give you more sparkle.

I like both! They are so different and I can see a need for both styles.

I voted for #1, but I think #2 would be a fun stand-alone ring!

I voted for #1 because it's what *I* like best.
HOWEVER, knowing the other designers that you like, I'm thinking you're probably going to be happier with #2, Dreamer.

BUT, I'm with everyone else--why choose just one?

Well, unfortunately I do need to choose just one 8)

My concern about the first option is quality. Is this a big issue with this type of pave setting? How secure is this type of pave long term? The style of pave has 4 prongs per diamond, and the channel should add additional protection. Can anyone comment on this issue? The price is right, but I don't want to sacrifice anything...

I say 2, you've wanted one for a long time, in rose gold would give you a substantial rose gold piece which you have also wanted, you can wear alone or it would look great and chunky when stacked with your three stone:-)

1 is also very pretty, but my vote for you is with #2.

#1 is my vote! But I know you have always liked those scattered bands!

Number 1. I own a similar ring - it is 14K yellow gold. I wear it on my pointer finger. I don't wear it every day. It has held up very well, no loose stones.

I used to own a similar scatter band (Tiffany etoile in platinum) but I got tired of it. It was nice, but I prefer something that is more classic like Number 1 - something that has more diamonds.

I voted for #2 because you have wanted one of these bands. I really think #1 is gorgeous as well.

Hi Dreamer, tough decision!
Get both, try them out, return the one you don't like quite as much. It's so hard to know unless you test-drive them.
What if #1 is much looser than you thought it would be or #2 has odd proportions when stacked? Best of Luck!

#1 if you plan on wearing them as a set. It is versatile and you could wear it several different ways. The second band is a nice stand alone piece but for this reason it probably wouldn't get as much wear time.

Is it returnable? I only ask because I went up 1/4 size in an eternity band and it was wayyyyy too big, even stacked with two other rings. I ended up selling it for this reason. Hopefully this won't be an issue for you, but 1/4 of a size was too big of a jump for me.

I voted for #2 because I have one and love it! I have the yellow gold 4mm, love it! Wish I could have gotten 4.5mm, but they don't make those... :)

I prefer #1. Just like the look better, it's more blingy, and delicate, which I like. But as pp has said, I remember that you have been wanting a scattered band for a long time. So go for it! Both will be beautiful!

I have the Tiffany plat etoile and I love it - I like the finger presence and it's stackable with other thin bands - I love it. (I've got one similar to your 1st choice too, and it is classic and nice, but from any distance it sorta doesn't register b/c it's so thin - does that make sense?)
