I am excited to see what the replys are, this was somewhat surprising to me
I don't know much about princess cuts but if you measured that second table at the widest point, which I am sure it is, then that could be true I suppose. But you must also recognize the same thing I do, that the angle at those junction points at the table are much lower in the second diamond, thus meaning that the actual surface area of the second table is probably significantly lower than that of the first. But I don't really know anything about princess cuts, except the second one looks like a prettier shape and pattern to me
the stones have different corner facet types that is why the table data is different to the appearance. The second is better - probably a very nice stone - but for princess an ASET photo is more helpful to make a final distinction.
Thanks!! I am really glad that I found this forum and learned that I could go this low in color and still get a white stone but much bigger than what I was looking at!!
She has moreless an Idea that it is coming.. let me try to explain, I showed her some pictures of different cuts and settings in order to know that she was madly in love with the princess cut diamonds and also that she loved the lucida type setting so thats what I got to her!, also we went to tifannys 2 weeks ago to see some charms silver bracelets, and I told her to come see the rings and the lady that was helping us, insisted that she tried a 1.12 lucida (it was around 20,000 USD!! ridiculous) and the ring size was kind of big for her finger, so the lady said well lets see what is your exact ring size (the last thing that I needed to know) and she tried several ones and I found out that she was a 5 (PERFECT!!) , so next day I ordered the complete ring from Jennifer Norbury at JA with an excelent service!!!
