Hi everybody,

I will be getting engaged soon and I am in the middle of my diamond quest.
I have narrowed it down to these 3 Princess cut diamonds.

I want to know which one would be a better stone over all, considering the info on the diamond.

Table %: 66
Symmetry: VG
Polish: VG
Girdle: M-TK
Culet: N
Fluorescence: N
Measurements: 6.67x6.39x4.56
Ratio: 1.044
Cut Grade: Ideal

(Stone 2)
Carat Weight: 1.59
Color: H
Clarity: VS2
Depth%: 73.3
Table %: 72
Symmetry: G
Polish: VG
Girdle: M-TK
Culet: N
Fluorescence: N
Measurements: 6.49x6.47x4.74
Ratio: 1
Cut Grade: Premium

(Stone 3)
Carat Weight: 1.57
Color: H
Clarity: VS2
Depth%: 73.1
Table %: 71
Symmetry: VG
Polish: VG
Girdle: M-STK
Culet: N
Fluorescence: N
Measurements: 6.71x6.42x4.69
Ratio: 1.045
Cut Grade: Premium

Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Also, I would be very thankful if anyone can tell me what reports, pics (ideal scope pics), I should ask for before purchasing.

Thanks alot in advance.
James

where did the ''ideal'' cut grade come from? is there a grading report from ags?

The report is actually GIA, but as far as the stone being Ideal could be just what the selling site thinks.

But all three stones are GIA.

Any suggestions are welcome. :)

thanks

did you get idealscope images? that would be very helpful if you can''t see them together before you purchase.

Yes I read something about ''Ideal Scope'' pics. Since this is my first time buying a diamond, I dont have alot of knowledge in how the process works.

Is it possible to ask for Ideal scope images for around 3 stones ! I think the Sellers I am looking at dont actually have the stones on hand. I think once I like one they will call it in and take pics for me. Unless they dont mind calling in all 3 stones !

I asked for the copy of GIA reports for all 3 and for one they said "the GIA report not available" for 1 of the stones, is that possible at all ! !

James,

if they don''t have the stones ''in house'' you will be charged to bring them in. that can get pricey but sometimes it''s necessary if you can''t find what you want from vendors that keep more stones in stock. have you tried using the ''pricescope your diamond'' search tool above for ''in house'' diamonds? i would make sure you have exhausted all of your resources before bringing in several diamonds.
