I realized you can''t go just by the numbers on an oval, but
Both similarly priced, here are the specs:

#!:
2.51 Carat
G / VS2
Depth 63.1%
Table 53%
Girdle Medium to very thick
Polish VG
Symmetry G
10.27x7.47x4.71
Ratio 1.37
No Fluorescence

This company rates the cut Very Good

#2
2.51 Carat
G / VS2
Depth 65%
Table 59%
Girdle Thin to thick
Polish VG
Symmetry G
10.25x7.54x4.9
Ratio 1.36
No Fluorescence

This company rates the cut Ideal

All opinions appreciated.

Well, the two are very close in numbers, so I would say you would have to see them both to make your decision. If I had to make a totally blind decision, I guess I would go with #1 since it''s a little less deep. But, really you need to see them to know. You can''t tell from the numbers if one has a bigger bowtie than the other, and which one looks more bright and beautiful. If you''re working with an online vendor, I would ask them to take a look at both stones for you, and give your their opinion.
