Hi All-

1st off, I want to thank everyone for their help on my past posts. I've learned so much on here these past few months.

I have another question for the guru's on the board...Which diamond will shine more based on the setting?

#1 in a white gold solitaire setting.

#2 in a yellow gold solitaire setting

I want to get the diamond that will be the whitest of the two from the top down and off course some on the sides. Any help would be greatly appreciated! I've read that a K color in a yellow gold setting would make it pop more and not show the tint...but I also heard that it will absorb it as well.

Thoughts?

Fancies will show more colour so if you want a whiter looking princess cut, stick with the I and set it in a white metal. I have an L AVC which looks white when set in WG and warmer when set in 18k YG.

Thanks Chrono-

So the K would be definitely out if I am looking for somewhat a white color even with the 18K YG? The JA rep mentioned doing that to make the K color pop but I wasnt sure of it. So I figured that I'd ask the board.
