I''d go A or C, myself.

Can you post the measurements? And do you need to hit the .5 mark for a setting you''ve chosen?

If A has a significantly bigger diameter and it''s eye clean, that''s the way I''d lean. Depending on the setting you''re using, that is.

Here is the info you requested:

My fiance is looking for something small so I guess I am limited between .5-..7
I was leaning to a half bezel white gold setting

Do you have better recommendations?
Gypsy gave me three options but the .75 was over my budget.

I really appreciate the help.

They would probably all be pretty really. I''m drawn towards #2, but only because the angles are almost identical to mine.

Do you have any idealscope images etc.???

Prices would be nice as well. I have been doing alot of searches on diamonds in this general range as well.

My first thought is that the difference in clarity on C will be invisible(make sure that the others are eye clean-- as YOU define eyeclean, they will check it for you and verify that it is. )

So that improvement in clarity would have no impact on the diamond, nor would the color going from E to D, thus my first thought is don't sacrifice on cut at all just to get an invisbile improvement. Especially with such a small diamond, and online where you have to trust the numbers rather than visual inspection of light performance. Second, get more information, Ideal Scope, aset? I am new to requesting these things myself, but I say def. do it.

Thus my recommendation to you is to do the exact same thing I am choosing to do right now. Go for the E color because there is no way she will see a difference in E to D in a diamond this small after its mounted and the backgrounds are constantly changing. Then ask them to make sure that the diamond is eyeclean from all angles and directions, letting them know that is critical to you and if you see anything it will be coming back, but you really hope not to have to do that. They will check it, and if it is then it's going to be the best pick i think.

Also, don't hestitate to ask them to hold the diamonds and then post the links so we can inspect all of the data and give you a complete answer. I have been beating myself up over my 60ct purchase myself, and I have learned ALOT. I don't know as much as some, but I am willing to give my time to look at the stones and give my thoughts, so put up the links!

Also, I have posted a lot of stones I was interested in at the .60 ct range, and that would be my recommendation. To move up a couple of .2 or .3 mm's to give that slightly larger appearance and to help you feel good about a small diamond. I can sleep well knowing two things:

I am over half a ct, nobody could really tell a difference between mine and a .5, but they also couldn't tell a difference between mine and a .7 :)

and most importantly, my diamond is over twice the weight and 1.1 mm larger than an equal priced tiffany's solitaire with lesser color (though I am going one lesser in clarity, it is still supposed to be eye clean from all directions).

If you can send individual messages to me via pricescope send me one and I can offer up some of the numerous diamonds I have looked at, a number of them have been inspected as eye clean, etc, which would save you some time in sorting out as well.

We don't have that on here. Too much abuse resulted when we did.

HI Peperdine! Looks like you are in good hands... can't wait to see your final choice.

OH! If I posted anything out of your price range it was because of the pricescope discount. WF has a discount for Pricescope members on stones if you mention you are a PSer and wire cash to them.

They are still in your budget with the discount.

The .75 was not an ideal cut right? or it was significantly lower in clarity or color? I have to say I haven''t seen any comparable .75 stones to those stones within the same budget as those stones would probably be.

Also, give out some more information, price ranges, and list links to the stones, there are alot of good ones, and I don''t think you have to be too worried about having them purchased too quickly. Those that you are really interested in, get a hold for, like I said, so we can help out better. just don''t be shy! and feel free to search out my post and see if you are interested in any of those stones, just not my top choice from JA!
