me me me! apparently some places are honoring black friday prices on thursday night online...so i might be doing that.

DH wants a new garmin, and really likes his techy toys, so i''m gonna try to get a nicer one by getting it on black friday!

for electronics = not me. BF works at big-box electronic store, employee price is the same or better than black friday prices year-round

I may venture out a bit later in the morning and poke around a bit. clothes, jewelry. etc.

Now, I just stay away from malls at holiday time as much as humanly possible. Actually, I stay away from them in general. Nothing kills the joy of shopping like working retail, unless it''s working retail at the holidays.

I finished all of my x-mas shopping three weeks ago, specifically to avoid "holiday" crowds. So frankly, I would rather jab a fork in my eye than go to the mall on black friday.

I talked my sister into going out at 4 am with me to get a TV last year. We took my then 9 mo old niece with us. Never again! Once was enough! We did get good deals though. We might go later in the day if we do it this year.

Exaaaaactly. I worked at freaking Wal-Mart for it one year, and even though they didn''t make us work more than 6 hours in a stretch - they understood that it was hellish - it was still too long.
