Viphan01,

My choice is: http://www.goodoldgold.com/diamond/2622/

I think all of them are nice choices and you will have one happy girl!

I would go with the F VS2, the other clarities are overkill, imo.

Also, not sure how you managed to pull up the first GOG stone, but that''s from their old website. I tried searching for it on the new site, but there''s nothing like that on there that I could find....

I definitely vote for the last one!

I just realized that last stone that you all like has medium blue fluorescence which is not what I am looking for. I will have to search for another one.

What''s wrong with that? You can''t see it unless you have a black light handy!

Yes, and if it DID have any affect on the stone (other than under a blacklight), it would only be to make it appear brighter /whiter!!

Please, call and talk to GOG about it. This is NO reason to get rid of this stone!

Nothing wrong with medium blue fluorescence, many here prefer it.

My first diamond was F color and had medium blue flourescence. But I didn''t know it for several years until we got an updated appraisal that happened to mention it!!! It was and is invisible! I have never even had it where there was a black light to see it glow! Actually, I think it would be cool to see!

So medium blue flourescence wouldn''t make D-F color diamonds look milky as I''ve read it?
Also, if I have to stick with the trade up policy (yes, it would be an upgrade e-ring) from jamesAllen and have no choice to go with GOG, which one should I pick?

If Jamesallen allows the buy back/consignment program, I''ll try to get the one from GOG.

Thanks again!

No, medium blue is not a problem. You have to be more careful with strong blue, because some of those can be a problem. I''ll look at the other choices. Does James Allen allow full value for trade-ups? If so, I can see why you''d want to do that if your first stone came from there.

Thanks for your quick response. They don''t have the full value trade up. Only 80% but I am still inquiring on the buy back value and consignment (no answer yet). I think I need to get rid of the thought that I must get the VVS instead of VS:-). There is another stone that I am requestion more info on. It is from superbcert, but this particular stone is not superbcert, it is ideal H&A. http://www.exceldiamonds.com/diamond/74339.html
Wish I can consign or sell my first stone back to Jamesallen so I can have more choices on H&A stones.

If you just want a diamond that's eyeclean, then yes, that's a great idea.

Honestly, there are diamonds that have been posted here, one very recently, that was a 1.6 SI2 AND totally eyeclean, though those are harder to find.

If upgrading is important to you in the future, I looked at Excels policy. It's ok, but not near as good as GOG's, just a thought...

Wow, only 80% for a trade-up? They need to revise that policy if they want to be competitive. I think the last 3 JA stones were gorgeous, though. So I''d let them know you''ll trade up with them if you get 90-100% value or else you''ll go elsewhere with your money! I''d either stick with JA or switch to GOG or WF. You can''t beat the latter two with trade-ins and selection of H&A diamonds. I believe GOG has lifetime buy-back, too.

They do, at 25% less purchase price.

You would want to talk about this with Jim Schultz personally...but I believe that they have 100% upgrades on their "in-house" stones.

Unfortunately, WF doesn''t have the ACA size/criteria I''m looking for...
