I am a newbie with a quick question. Which one of these princess cut diamonds have better dimensions:

Diamond 1:

Carat weight: 1.07
Cut: Very Good
Color: D
Clarity: VS2
Depth %: 68.6%
Table %: 75%
Symmetry: Good
Polish: Good
Girdle: Thin to thick
Culet: None
Fluorescence: None
Measurements: 5.82x5.82x3.99 mm
Length/width ratio: 1.00

Diamond 2:

Carat weight: 1.09
Cut: Very Good
Color: D
Clarity: VS2
Depth %: 71.6%
Table %: 75%
Symmetry: Good
Polish: Very good
Girdle: Very thin to medium

Measurements: 6.08x5.60x4.01 mm
Length/width ratio: 1.09

That isnt good and could be a very very good reason to pass on it.
There was an article linked a while back about insurance companies stopping insuring princess cut diamonds because they chip and break too much so it is a real worry.

Can you get ideal-scope images of the stones?
Fancies are very hard to judge by the numbers one might have perfect numbers and be a dog and another less than steller numbers and be awesome.
 
These diamonds are listed on bluenile. Do they idealscope their diamonds?
 
Choosing the right Princess cut can be difficult. Great fancies are more than the sum of their specs. You might considering checking with Vendors with hand selected inventories.
