So my gf has given me no info to work with so its all up to me for an e-ring. I''m either going to go with whiteflash or Mark at ERD(I live in manhattan). Here are a couple of settings....which one would you prefer if you were to choose. My total budget is about 6 grand. I would like a 1 carat round with ideal cut.

a side question...since I live in Manhattan...would you think its just better for me to work with Mark? It would be kinda nice to see it in person.

I like the first one (the Divisi) because it looks more delicate and I like the side profile. Though the "swoopiness" of the second makes the thicker band feminine (but I don't like the side profile).

I am picking out my own setting, and I'll most likely be buying online. Because it is important to see rings on (rings I thought I would like, I didn't and vice versa), I am trying similar styles on at local stores. The similar styles give me an idea of what styles work or don't work for me, what width I want or don't, what size pave or sidestones, etc. I would suggest looking online for what you like, then look in real life at styles similar to what you have picked, then confirm or rule out rings.

I like the Divisi, the profile looks a lot better than the second one. The second one looks really high which I do not like.

I also like the "Divisi" better- it''s more delicate and is still classic while also being a bit unique at the same time.

Good luck with the decision!

Me too!

And I''d look at settings there as well, chances are you could find something similar, or something else you like just as much, or more.

Between the two WF setting''s, I also like the Divisi best.

Both PS vendors will do a great job!!!!

I just love my ACA!!!

I prefer the Divisi of the 2 WF settings. It couldn''t hurt to take a look at what Mark at ERD has, especially since you can do so in person.

I prefer the divisi. It looks more fluid and more updated than the other setting. As far as vendors go, you really can''t go wrong with those two.

Ditto the Divisi and I agree...set up a appointment with Mark and see if you like what he has to offer.

Didn''t someone else get a Divisi on here? It was a while back...I can do a search if you want.

I would agree with DKS and get ERD to do a quote...especially since you are in NYC!! I think from all the pics on here he does incredible work...I don''t remember ever hearing of anyone say anything other than amazing things about Mark/ERD.

Good luck!

Another PSer''s Divisi e-ring: https://www.pricescope.com/community/threads/wf-divisi-e-ring.54736/

I too would pick the Divisi from those two choices. But I too would want to see what Mark could do for me. He''s great.
When I look at this thread I notice a difference between the stock pictures of the divisi and the psers pictures of the divisi. How the shank connects to the basket in the stock picture is more fluid whereas in the psers pictures it''s blocky and can be see from the top view. Can WF explain this difference? I would want to make sure that your divisi looks like the stock picture is that''s the look you want.

Wow, I''m in the minority here - I prefer the cathedral over the divisi. I too would check with Mark as well.

Love the Divisi !!! Great taste!!!

Thanks for the input everyone. If I go with WF...it will be the divisi...and if I go with Mark...we'll see what happens.

So with WF...how does it all work...should I just do it all over the internet or call someone there? Obviously I will run the stones through all you folks first before I finalize.

I would chose the Divisi!
