overall, the pros for each stone are:

the first stone is slightly bigger and one color grade better, and i think that, by the numbers, its cut is a little better

the second stone is ~$250 cheaper, and i think it has the better idealscope (symmetry and contrast look as good as any stone ive come across)

any opinions? thanks so much

The first one looks like a new line ACA while the second is classic line. Here's a thread discussing the differences: https://www.pricescope.com/community/threads/a-cut-above-new-line-vs-classic-line-a-review-of-the-2-cutting-styles.24185/

i would probably go for the g/si combo. it just depends on what is more important to you....one color grade or slightly bigger. chances are, you wouldn''t be able to tell the difference between either of those so just get the one that ''feels'' right. you can''t go wrong either way. both are stunning.

I''m confused...I thought the F was the bigger one. So, isn''t it a win/win situation with the F?

Ditto Miss Lorelei and Miss Belle

Yep - I''d also pick the G.

If the $250 difference is not a big deal, I'd choose #1. It has better color and is larger, plus I prefer the "broadfire" flashes of light that a new line ACA is supposed to have.

Me too!

i love the G SI1 combo and the old style ACA.

I recently also struggled to decide between two WF ACAs, one new line and the other Classic.

This is a tough call.
I'd probably get the second one.
Yes it is smaller, but only 0.024 carat which is barely noticeable.
It gets a HCA of 1.1 instead of 1.3 and leaves $267 in your pocket.

It is really splitting hairs.
Either one will make you very happy, New Line or Classic ACA.

both look really good! If you have a preference between the New Line and Classic Line, you should choose based on that.
If you have no preference between the 2 lines, then base your decision on the price. Is there a slightly bigger G you can buy for the price of the F?

i agree with carebear...if you have a pref on the new line vs classic (aka broad edge to edge light return or the shards of glass edge look) then use that to choose, if not then use price because honestly both will be stunning, it just depends on what you want to see...the differences are pretty darn subtle between two stellar stones. good luck!

i like the G/S1 combo
