1.29 ct, J color, VVS2, triple x, HCA 1.0

The 1.24 has a little bit of yellow which I don't think should be noticeable in a white setting. The 1.29 has a lot of blue which worries me but maybe I just don't know enough about color is this type of image. Most of the J colored stones I've seen in person with a loupe have looked colorless to me.

Cut was the highest priority to me, then carat, color, and clarity. Both stones have a higher clarity than I was looking for but these just happened to be the ones I've found so I'm taking it as a bonus. Opinions? Thanks in advance.

Just based on those pictures I like the first best.

And yay to a J, I think j colors are just beautiful, and they certainly allow for more size ;-)

The "blue" and "yellow" you mention are not the body color of the diamond, nor are they the result of the body color.
They are the result of the lighting, and the position of the stone and the camera, nothing more.
Pay no attention to these photographic artifacts.

Live, when moved around you will see a zillion combinations of colors come out of the facets of both diamonds.
A photograph stops time and captures one instant of the constantly-changing colored light show.

Both are J per GIA.

Thanks for clarifying that!

The arrows on the 1.24 stone seem to line up better and the small triangles between the arrows seem more uniform. Is this due to the cut of the stone or is it just due to the angle the picture was taken?
