I''d love to hear input...

for me in order from the most to the least

Clarity
Cut
Carat
Color

i have had terrible clarity diamonds in the past, due to my non diamond education so clarity was very high on my list. What about you?

Cut
Clairty & color (both equally important)
Carat

I will only buy top cut, clarity and color so I have very small diamonds for the price.

Cut, Color, Clarity, Carat.

Although my ring actually fits more as if I were Color, Clarity, Cut, Carat. Pre-PS.

Depends on the piece honestly.

Colored stone? COLOR first.
Diamond? Again... in a modern stone, CUT. In a vintage stone... something else.

Overall though, as long as it's eyeclean and SAFE with regard to inclusions, I'm happy with it. Everything else, it depends on what I am buying. Clarity is generally not ever gonna be high on my scale, unless I'm buying a large step cut.

Cut: 40%
Carat: 20%
Colour: 20%
Clarity: 20%

Cost!

Cut - I wanted it to be a top performer #1
Color - wanted a warm color, I-J-K
Clarity - I have sharp eyes, had to be VS2 or higher
Carat - Anywhere above .5 was good enough for me

For clarification cut and carat are almost tied. I would take a larger EX cut over a smaller H&A if the size was very noticeable.
