This description of the setting states that it can be made in a variety of materials. However, there is a price of $1,1915 already listed on the webpage.

Does anyone know what material is included in the quote?

Mark Patterson Setting

I believe that may be a starting price, but usually the listed price on the page is for gold, and then it goes up with platinum. The only way to be sure though, is to contact them.

It''s absolutely gorgeous! I love it.

Ditto, but of course, the only way to know is to call! Please let us know what they say.

I will try to swing by Michael Fina tomorrow and check out the setting in person and find out the pricing details from the salespeople.

I really like the just pave on the crescent prongs version - Crescent Pave Only

And then there is the full bling version - Blingier Version
--> This version doesn''t have the pave going all the way around and I can''t figure out if the extra "bling" is worth it.

DB and I made it to Michael C. Fina yesterday and we were able to take a look at the Mark Patterson Crescent settings in person. As we thought, the Crescent Pave only, solid band option was our favorite - for some reason the version with the pave on the band felt weird against my skin

. Is that normal?

Our consultant, Libby, was awesome and couldn''t have been nicer. Sometimes, some places can be a little not as nice to my boyfriend since he''s a heavily tattooed guy (but cute as a button!).

I can confirm that the price listed on the website was for all platinum.

Now, my question is, how accurate is that price if we don''t go with the 1ct rounds the model is set for? I know carat and ring size can affect the pricing, but would going with a different shape (like a cushion or oval) affect the price a great deal?

I'm confused! Normally I would have to agree with the ladies above because thats how it usually works but when
I brought the link up at the top above the big Michael C. Fina it says Platinum Diamond Crescent semi-Mount.

It also says Promise Collection Platinum Cresent Ring Mounting. Price it is showing is $1915.00.

Am I looking at a different page then you guys?

EDIT - BTW I think it is a beautiful setting! I dont think going to a different head for a different shape stone usually
changes the price but going to a much bigger head for a bigger stone may change the price. I could be totally wrong
because this head has pave on it and I'm not sure how the change for a different shape stone may affect that.
