Yippe! I see you finally got the poll set up correctly!

I don''t think one combo is BETTER than the other - it is a preferance. Therefore, my preference is the 75/50 combo.

Ditto, to all.

too little information to actually say... 2 numbers do not define a diamond.
There will be a much larger difference at a c/p combo of 36/40.4 than at 34.5/40.75

Storm, here's the stats:
Here are the numbers for the first one:

Quoted from Viphan01's other post:
https://www.pricescope.com/community/threads/need-help-with-idealscope-image-second-one.65623/

1.71 VVS1 AGS0
7.66x7.69x4.77
Table: 54.7%
Total depth: 62.2%
Crown Angle: 35
Pav. Angle: 40.8
Crown height: 15.8%
LG% I don't know how to calculate this on AGS cert. assuming it is >75% since they are fatter
Girdle: 1.35-3.60 (fa)

Numbers for the second one:
1.75 VS1 GIA Ideal cut
7.74X7.76X4.78
Table: 56%
Total Depth: 61.7%
Crown Angle: 35
Pav. Angle: 40.8
Crown height: 15.5%
LG%: 75%
Girdle: Medium (fa)

Storm,

The other combo is 35/40.8 (the same for both stones). BTW, I got the idealscope images and measurements of both posted in my "Please Help with idealscope images (second one)". If you have time, please look at them and suggest.

Thanks

These poll results probably aren''t to accurate. Everytime, at least on my computer, that I wan''t to view the results I have to vote again.

Just a comment to see if I am understanding your comment correctly. Vote when I checked in was 11/3 for the 75%. Storm, better mobilize the troups!

its a biased poll because everyone knows the diamonds in question.
And I would go with the 75% when picking between those 2 or find a different diamond.
The difference isnt worth $3000

I''m not going to vote, because I wouldn''t have a clue as to what these would actually look like in a diamond.

But I am enjoying all of this discussion regarding the best of the best.

LOL, that puts me at a dissadvantage as I have no idea about the diamonds. I just like the shorter lgf''s. I know you like the longer ones, and you are JUST AS RIGHT AS I AM!

I never go look at another thread to see information that should be posted with the current thread, I just don''t have the time. Same reason I don''t go read articles when the pertinent information should be posted in the thread...

I think I have to go turn off the little dinger that dings every time I get an email, it is disrupting my work flow... back to work now, good to see you again, look forward to dissagreeing and agreeing with you some more!

Yes, "narrower" should be the word. It was in my original post. After that, I found the numbers as polled: 80%/49%
