I thought the exact same thing about a nice pair of earings! I''m working on an E ring at this point, so I''m working with a ''one stone budget''!

it appears to me as though number 2 has more ''white'' areas around the outside of the diamond. Does this mean it would allow more light to travel through and create sparklies?

I have a feeling that they are both so close, and both such nice stones all around that I probably would not be able to tell a difference. I would think the same would be true for the case of 2 having a smaller ct weight but having larger measurements... so close once on a ring and a finger they would look the same.

The white areas are controlled leakage points which aid contrast and scintillation, its hard to call with the IS - they are both great and worthy diamonds!

If you drive a big car then go with HABI2!!
