There are so many choices? Which tool is a must for light performance? Do I also need a ASET Scope ?

I just need tools to shop for diamonds.

And which one is good for bezel set diamond ring?

Thank you !

If it is a round diamond, then the Idealscope is sufficient (the beginner's kit). For fancy shapes like oval, princess, emerald cut, etc, ASET is better. It doesn't matter how you plan to set the diamond, bezel or not, because a well cut diamond will reflect the light back out the top and not leak out the sides.

Thank you for the quick reply. If my ring is already set (not loose stone,RB/bezel set)The Idealscope still works?

Yes, it also works on stones that already set.

For a set round brilliant either ideal-scope is Ok - better one has a stronger lens, but the beginner is pretty good.

This page shows how to use the light and be sure you get the same effect in different stores.
extra spent on the light is better than on the expert model IS
