I ordered an analysis done on two I color round diamonds from James Allen. The results came in and I am not sure which to choose. I am really new to diamonds and any help would be appreciated. You can also tell me that both are not good choices too. Perhaps there are better deals on other websites? This is what James Allen had to say about the two diamonds.
As I am sure you expected after reviewing the images, the gemologist found both diamonds to be very lively performers! They both possess and excellent amount of brilliance (white light return), fire (dispersion of color) and sparkle that is well balanced and symmetrical. How personal favorite of the two was the 1.27 carat-I-SI1 (diamond 329149; $8,070) because he said it is a higher "I" color (closer to an "H") and is a slightly whiter option. The 1.31 carat-I-VS2 (diamond 361325; $8,280) is a true "I" in color (and is still a nice white). Both diamonds are completely "eye clean" also.
