Which one would you suggest?

GIA 1.01 D SI2 Cut-very good $ 4791

GIA 1.03 H SI2 Cut- good $ 4087

EGL USA 1.33 G SI2 Cut-very good $ 5353

The diamond above are on-line and I haven''t seen them or the cert.

The next three I have seem from trust jewelers in my area and they all look nice

GIA .90 H SI2 AGS-2 $4500

No Cert 1.05 H SI2 AGS-2 $5000

EGL USA 1.04 H SI2 Cut-good $4750

Thanks for your help!!

are any of them eyeclean?
Does it matter to you if they have eye visible inclusions?

Noobie is right -- first you need to look at the clarities of all of these. They could be eye clean, or they could have black spots in the middle of the table, or somewhere in-between. Sort out the clarity differences (ask for expert opinions, descriptions of the inclusions, and pictures); eliminate those that don't make sense for you, and then start to sort out the priority between size, color and cut. At SI2 clarity, some can be great values, and some are not, so that should be your first sort criteria here. Not all SI2's are worth considering, depending on your sensitivities to visible inclusions or inclusions that have integrity risks.

Thanks for your replies. Being eye clean is very important to me.
The stones that I saw at the jewelers were all clean. The ones on-line I haven''t seen and that''s why I''m hesitant to buy on-line.
Should I being looking on-line at SI1 or VS2 to ensure eye clean or is there anything on the EGL or GIA reports that would tell me?
Should I being looking more for GIA diamonds or is an EGL USA pretty close? Would a GIA SI1 be eye clean but an EGL not be?
Thanks again

What does - Cut very good mean?

I don''t know, I haven''t seen the EGL or GIA certs. to get more of the details.
I''m leaning towards the 1.33 because in comparing similar stones if it is a "G" SI2 With a very good??? cut $5300 seems like a good price
Does anyone agree?

Very good could mean different things to different people....in order for anyone here to be able to comment, it would be better if you could provide actual measurements of the stone, such as depth and table percentages and crown and pavillion angles.. Do you have any of that information??? Also, regarding the clarity SI2 could be acceptable...or not. Deoends on the nature of the inclusions and how easily they can be seen......If you can get provide more information, you will get more feedback......

(I know this whole thing can be very frustrating.......)

Thanks for your input- I won''t be able to get the reports until Monday then I''ll have more info.
Thanks again

In the meantime, you might want to review the tutorials re: cut on this site, and on other sites....GOG has an extensive tutorial re: cut, as do some other sites.....then you will have a basic idea of how cut is evalutaed......Good luck, and come back and ask more questions!!!!!

I got a copy of the EGL USA cert. and would like some advice on this stone. Does $5300 seem reasonable or should we keep looking?

1.33 ct.
Round
Color: G
SI2
Meas: 7.16 - 7.12 X 4.2mm
Depth: 58.8
Table: 61.0
Crown: 12.0
Pavilion: 42.9
Girdle: med-thick
Polish: very good
Sym: good
Fluo: Med. Blue
Culet: none

Is the girdle too thick and is the stone going to be blue?
I''m so undecided-We would like a larger stone but we have a very limited budget, is this worth the money or should we go with a smaller diamond?
Thanks again
