you might have to wait a bit for responses as not many people are experts on ovals around here!!

getting an expert to chime in like a garry or one of the vendors may be your best bet. also check out the AGA (www.gemappraisers.com) cut grade #'s for ovals and see where these stones fall. but your eye may be the best bet for a fancy such as an oval. good luck.

edited to add it seems like MAYBE diamond A would be better from a table and depth combo and also girdle...but again, not an expert!!

Thanks Mara! Well he went ahead and bought diamond A. That is what I thought would be best too. I did some research and the proportions of A seemed to be better. I think it will be beautiful. She has been waiting for this for a while and I hope he proposes this weekend. I will have to post pics when she gets it. She has unique tastes and it will fit her perfectly!
