Calling all experts and diamond lovers, could you see which one is the best choice? I am looking for a stone around 1.2ct, ideal or H&A cut, F-H color (I'm not super color sensitive, but don't want to see yellow light coming out of the diamond), eye clean clarity. The brightness and brilliance is most important to me.

I notice the price are quite different from different vendors, so I wonder if I am getting a good bargain from JA.

Any suggestions are welcome. Thank you! x

This stone would be top cut quality (hearts and arrows):

These two would be more equivalent as they are both ideal cut:

I can't see the price on the James Allen stone, so I can't comment on pricing. WhiteFlash has a much better trade-in policy. And both WF stones are larger (in diameter and weight) than the JA stone, so that accounts for some of the price difference since they are over 1.2 cts.

So the JA one is about $9000.

Better Trade-in policy, do you mean JA only give 100% back if the new diamond is 2x the price? Is there something else? x

What's your budget? Those WF stones are lovely.

diamond and a wedding set together for 12k. If the difference in diamond quality worth 1.4k, I would get a better diamond and cut down on the setting.

No. It's not worth that much to me for just the stones. They are the same visual size. Both are AGS0 stones. So performance is the same and G SI is a very nice spot to me (as long as the diamond is eyelcean). BUT if you might want to upgrade in the future the price difference might be worth the upgrade policies to you.

It's a matter of works best for you.
