Which diamond should I buy from these Idealscope images?

Hi. I'm hoping to get a second opinion. I've received the attached Idealscope images of three diamonds to choose from but I'm a little confused.
I've been advised that C (in attachment) has the best light return. Whilst I'm aware that the less white (in most cases) the better, it appears to me that examples A and B look most similar to the Perfect example from Idealscope reference.
All of them are eye clean and icy white in color (so I've been told).
A is the cheapest option followed by C and then B. C contains slight crystal and feather inclusions.
Which would you suggest I buy?
Thanks in advance.

I would prefer F/VS1 to D/SI1, so I would pick A. There is nothing wrong with the idealscope image of C, the proportions are a little different than the stone in the 'ideal' example, but the idealscope shows no leakage.

Are these from a local stone or an online vendor? I'd probably choose A out of these 3, but I'd try to get a little more size by going to F VS2, if possible.

Thanks for the replies. I'm in Australia but these are from a US online dealer.
The seller is recommending C hence I'm a little confused. A and B clearly have a better cut and symmetry however the advice is that regardless of this, C is showing better light properties with A and B infact having more leakage.
I believe A and B show more light leakage around the girdle which may make them look even smaller.
Ideally I'd like C in a VS1 or better however at the end of the day, they are all eye clean and inclusion are only visible under magnification.
Diamondseeker - Why would you choose A over B?

A, nice IS plus it's the cheapest. I like B too, but I wouldn't want to pay for VVS.

I too would choose A. I like the IS image and diamond photo the best of the three. I also think the color and clarity are more middle of the road - D color and VVS are both overkill IMO. I'm not crazy about the depth on B and C has some possibly questionable inclusions in terms of eye cleanliness.

What if I told you this additional information about the clarity and inclusions?
C - SI1 (crystal, feather)
B - VVS2 (pinpoint)
A - VS1 (crystal, pinpoint, internal graining)

Why is it soo hard and waste so much time when we can't even notice to the naked eye? Geeeez....she better appreciate it.

It would not change my choice. A VS1 stone (my pick) should be eye clean to most.

She will appreciate your efforts I'm sure!

Wow, really high on the clarities!

I would probably go A. But B is also good.

A very difficult choice but after consultation with many people and the constant reassurance from the experts that C is totally eye clean and the most brilliant of the bunch as well as having the largest face, I'm leaning towards C.
I managed to squeeze out of my gf what she would prefer in terms of size vs clarity, and she is happy with more size and SI1 assuming its eye clean. Would prefer VS1 but at the end of the day, they're both eye clean.
Now platinum or white gold. Was originally going white gold but looking at the small price difference and having read up on the facts, I'm going with platinum.
Thanks for your advice.

If the SI1 is eyeclean, then do not hesitate to get it. You will also have a D color grade!

Ditto. Eyeclean SI is mindclean for me. Sounds like your lady wants performance and size. I'd focus on getting her those.

Tough choice - I wouldn't worry too much about the leakage in A & B but C has very little leakage around the perimeter which will make it look bigger - plus it IS bigger... so I'd go with that. I like the way B looks and A has shorter LGF which I like also but overall - I'd go with C.

I would definitely go with C as long as it's eye-clean to your standards. the idealscope image looks the best, it's the biggest and the color is the best. as long as you can't see the inclusions with the naked eye, who cares that they are there? just my opinion.

So happy you chose C because I think it looks great! It ranks highest on size and colour!

I wanted to contribute something about your D choice: I had diamonds ranging from E to I, and they all look pretty white unless you put them right next to each other. However, I then purchased a D...different story. (It's a .52 D round brilliant James Allen Hearts and Arrows, in a pendant.) I can absolutely see the difference between my D and all my other jewellery. It's got a pure iciness that the others don't have, like it belongs in a winter wonderland. It's really special and the colour leaves all the others in the shade, even the E (these are all certified GIA/AGS Hearts on Fire, Blue Nile Signature or James Allen Hearts & Arrows diamonds, by the way, so the colour grading of each is accurate.)

The D just stands out a mile with its pure white iciness, whereas no one who looks at the diamond with the naked eye would ever be able to tell whether it's IF or an eyeclean SI1!

So ever since my D purchase, I take the clarity right down to SI1 in order to afford a D. So worth it, in my opinion.

She is going to LOVE that stone! We look forward to the pics!
