My vote is for #2. There's something about the basket in #2 that makes it seem more polished and finished than the open basket in #1.

Thritto! They''re both lovely designs, but #2 speaks to me a little more somehow

So, it looks like a 2-1 majority of PS''ers prefer design #1.

New question: if I choose the open gallery option, do you think the jeweler can add the struts later, AFTER I pop the question, if it turns out that my fiance decides she likes design #2 better?

It''s important that the actual ring be a surprise so I can''t ask her opinion now.
