Which Cushion? - Cushion Modified Brilliant?

Hi

Thank you to everyone for all the wonderful information on this site. I am having trouble deciding if I want to buy this cushion... I have never seen the pavillion cut like this in all my searching and am thinking it is looking more like an HA pattern with extra facets at the bottom near the cutlet? It is stated as a modified cushion brilliant on the GIA report but it seems to me it may just be a cushion brilliant.

I am also noticing a small black inclusion in the middle star even tho this is a VVS1 do you think I will see be able to see this from my naked eye?

Specs are

1.5 cushion cut
Excellent Cut
J colour
vvs1 clarity
slight fluorescence
1.03 ratio (almost a perfect square)
Table -56% Depth 65%
Small Cutlet

I am also wondering do you think a J colour would be have a faint yellow hue to the naked eye?

You will not be able to see anything in a VVS1 stone, so no worries there. As for the J color, that really is subjective but it certainly won't be yellow. You may detect a slight warmth in certain lighting situations, some folks love it others don't. Cushions really need to be seen in person, numbers just don't say much. Who is the vendor and can you see the stone to see what your eyes think?

I find the faceting pattern in the middle of the stone very pleasing.
Any way to get an aset of the stone?

I won't be able to see the stone until I purchase as it is an online vendor. I can return it though if I don't like it. I might just take the plunge and hope it isn't too warm for my liking.

working on geting an Aset image of the stone but they said it would take a few days. I will post when I get it.

I haven't seen the faceting like that at the bottom, I am thinking that is why it was designated a modified cushion rather than a cushion brilliant.

no diamond expert, but the aset leakage doesn't look promising. are you able to get a video of the stone? otherwise, I would agree that I love the faceting in the middle of the stone as well!
