I have been looking at tons of different stones and narrowed it down to these two options. Cut, size, price aside - the colors are both gorgeous. Which one would you find more striking in person?

Setting: Not yet designed but likely 14k white gold or platinum.

Stone #1 - 2.75 carat, Parti, Round

Stone #2 - 2.06 carat, Teal Green, Cushion, about $600 more expensive.

Do you have pictures?

You need to include photos so we can see them :D

Oh no I thought I did by uploading them to my attachments! Troubleshooting...

hit insert on your attachments. :read:

Looking forward to seeing these...

Looks like it worked on my end, fingers crossed!

i love green saphires
the top one for me

Can we see a pic of the top one straight on? It's tilted so it's hard to tell.

Right now that’s the only one I have from the jeweler because it’s new in stock but this weekend I can get some side by sides.

The top one has better color but that looks like a major tilt window. The cushion is much better cut but is pallid and included.

I’d go for the top one by the color but for the cut of the second one. Probably you’ll find a third alternative?

I like the 2nd one, the colour looks like a calm, clean lake and the shape is more particular and eye catching in my opinion

I like the top one better

Based on these pics the top one because of the colour. But I would ask for more pics.

Buy both to assess next to each other.
Assuming vendors return policy is solid
Because it really depends how moody they are in different environments.
I think both have potential to be stunners!
And really, unless you’ve already have a firm set standard of what faults you cannot accept in a gem, you won’t know what’s unacceptable to you until you see it. Fair pricing to said faults- different subject.
