Hi All,

I've been so impressed by the community here at Pricescope and after much research I've decided that I am going to buy a diamond from Brian Gavin. Could you let me know which of the below diamonds would be your preference? Can you see any visual difference of a BGD signature vs. a BGD blue diamond?

Signature Diamonds
1.1243 G SI1 Signature H&A $8599

Blue Diamonds

1.224 H VS1 Blue $9635

1.295 G SI1 Blue $9795

The final stone is larger than the rest but right at the top of my budget. Can you let me know which one you would select?

Thanks in advance for all your help!

Well one has fluorescence, the other does not. And you can see strong blue in direct sunlight, if any of them has that. It's a cool effect that many love, but it is not for everyone. Obviously, you can see it under a black light as well.

This one is the lowest priced diamond over 1.2 carats. And it is an eyeclean G. http://www.briangavindiamonds.com/diamonds/diamond-details/1.210-h-si1-round-diamond-ags-104067957024

But this one is only a little more expensive and it hits 7mm. http://www.briangavindiamonds.com/diamonds/diamond-details/1.295-g-si1-round-diamond-ags-bl-104069928006 And I personally love strong blue.

For the $350 you are getting .2 mm which is a visual difference. So for me... the Blue 1.29 is the winner.

But like I said Fluorescence isn't for everyone.

Here' are some threads with pics that can help you decide if you like it or if you don't. Under a black light (this one is VERY strong, so your will not have as much fluorescence):
